Flowserve Ingenieur (M/W/D) in Itzehoe, Germany

For our location in Itzehoe we are looking for a dedicated Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for, among other things, the new and further development of liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors, mechanical design of standard systems as well as the evaluation and execution of the necessary calculations.

Your Role New and further development of liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors according to national and international guidelines and standards Mechanical design of standard systems of liquid ring vacuum pumps or liquid ring compressors in combination with e.g. coupling, motor, base frame etc. related to national and international guidelines and standards Evaluate and perform the necessary calculations for optimal component design, e.g. for housings, piping, separators, base frames, etc. in cooperation with the global product engineering team Apply design principles related to standardized modules, configurability for eCPQ, and design in accordance with manufacturing and assembly requirements Preparation and review of documentation required for standard products including accessories such as material master data, bills of material, 3D models and 2D drawings in collaboration with the Global Technology and Engineering Centers (GTEC) Preparation of technical input for product documentation, e.g. user manual, service manual, technical bulletin, P&ID, etc. in cooperation with GTEC Cross-departmental clarification of product-related issues, e.g., quality issues Handle product related tasks and projects within the scope of corporate and product management requirements. Supporting product localization with respect to product requirements Contact person for Order Engineering and Commercial Operations for technical questions regarding the products

Your profile Completed university studies in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable Ideally several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering Experience in the rotating equipment industry or comparable Basic knowledge of ERP, PLM and CAD Understanding of technical documentation, design, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing Basic knowledge of information technology tools, including Windows, Microsoft Office products and other related tools Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to apply technology to creatively solve problems that meet business and stakeholder needs Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Ability to work without close supervision and complete tasks of high quality and on time Strong oral and written communication skills in English
